Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing. I purchased the 7" green metal posts to fence off some bushes from the deer. The posts are of a sturdy metal and well made. The soil I have has the consistency of sand and dirt, so the posts slide into the dirt easily. The posts come with an instruction booklet, nuts, bolts, metal hooks and zip ties. Our galvanized steel 16-gauge post are architectural grade powder coated to weather the elements. The 2 in. wide x 52 in. tall post is compatible to be used with our Versai 46 in. or 48 in. tall fence panels.
