This was super easy to put together as long as you’ve got some muscle available! Make sure you notice that it doesn’t come with the weighted bottom. The one in the photo was purchased additionally so just as a heads up. Instructions only had illustrations, and we had a few moments of frustration following the pics… however, with patience got through the assembly within 2 hrs. The 12 ft umbrella is exactly what we needed for our pool area to provide some shade. Assembly took about an hour to put it all together. I love that it came with a base, but note that you need a lot of sand to fill the four sandbags that are inside of the base. Easy setup, check box for the top cover ( the one with the solar panel, it comes in a bubble wrap bag by itself ), it looks pretty sturdy to me, but yet again there was no real windy weather in the past few days since I got and installed this umbrella. Its big enough to bring shade to my entire table I bought the one in green color, and its beautiful. The little lights are strongbright enough for a few good hours and I really like the idea of having them lights attached to the brackets. We got lucky that our backyard table is strong enough to handle the umbrella without the footing ( if necessary you must buy separately) . So , as of now I would definitely recommend this item !. This is a great addition to our porch. I love that we could get rid of our table umbrella which was a distraction when socilizing around the table. My son, who is an architectural engineer had no trouble putting together this gazebo for my 60th birthday, he was impressed with the craftsmenship, the only downside was the size of delivery, I was forced to have the 18 wheeler back over my grass lawn and drop the pallets since they could only be dropgate delivery.. the neighborhood, strangers and passerby’s have inquired about this product so it may produce more sales...next twinkle lights, flower bed and a chime and picture will be complete..happy birthday to me!.
