This was super easy to put together as long as you’ve got some muscle available! Make sure you notice that it doesn’t come with the weighted bottom. The one in the photo was purchased additionally so just as a heads up. The only unfortunate thing is that you can’t rotate the angle of the umbrellas but overall a huge win and I got it at an incredible price. It’s perfect for the space and saved us needing a pergola. My son, who is an architectural engineer had no trouble putting together this gazebo for my 60th birthday, he was impressed with the craftsmenship, the only downside was the size of delivery, I was forced to have the 18 wheeler back over my grass lawn and drop the pallets since they could only be dropgate delivery.. the neighborhood, strangers and passerby’s have inquired about this product so it may produce more sales...next twinkle lights, flower bed and a chime and picture will be complete..happy birthday to me!. Definitely a 2 person job in moving the box, and to assemble. Instructions only had illustrations, and we had a few moments of frustration following the pics… however, with patience got through the assembly within 2 hrs. Really sturdy and heavy once the base was filled. However, the umbrella does sway a little in-the breeze, but still seems sturdy. Plan on closing the umbrella at night and when strong winds are predicted. Overall a very nice addition to our backyard for summer neighborhood get togethers. This is a monster! Great coverage of our ten seater dining table , love the 360 and the tilt mode. It took three adults to put it together it is massive and is a bit tricky , maybe finicky when opening it but once it is open it’s fantastic and provides excellent shade. Make note the base needs to have weight added to it I think the minimum is 660 lbs! We used landscape fabric and some rubber weight plates then covered with rocks and then black river rock . The 12 ft umbrella is exactly what we needed for our pool area to provide some shade. Assembly took about an hour to put it all together. I love that it came with a base, but note that you need a lot of sand to fill the four sandbags that are inside of the base. It’s awesome. I was skeptical at first, but… it’s incredibly easy to put together and super easy to open and close. I love the lights and the base is extremely sturdy. I filled it with 12 sand and 12 water so it weights about 350 pounds. I highly recommend this cantilever umbrella. I also love the way it’s adjustable up and down and also swivels left and right. If you’re looking for a cantilever umbrella….look no further. If you have the means…..I highly recommend. We were looking for something in a metallic pea or an Antarctic blue….but we settled on the black….and let me tell you…..it’s one of the best decisions we’ve ever made in our lives…hands down…bing…bang…boom.. When it is open it covers a large area for us to have a sofa and chairs. The base is heavy when the sand bags are full so no tipping will happen. But you will need to keep it in the spot you choose. Fantastic purchase! First think is this is big and tall. Be prepared to get a lot of sand. I bought 300lbs. and it took it like nothing. Locate and place base begore filling for sure. The umbrella itself is wonderful. It is beautiful and covers a large area and just looks luxurious. It opens abd closes with ease. The 360 degree turning is also easy and a great feature.
