We like this patio gazebo. We assembled it in 2-1/2 hours. It took 2 people but one could accomplish it alone. The step by step instructions were great! We were able to assemble it with the wrench included in the kit, but a drill would have been a welcome tool. The screw packaging had deteriorated so they were all mixed up. Having the screws presorted would have made the process quicker. The first half of assembly took the longest, but steps 7-13 were super quick and easy. It was worth all the effort. This pergola does a good job of protecting from the sun and cooling down the atmosphere.it also helps to keep pesky bugs away! It took about 3 hours to assemble with only one person. Although the instructions could have been more clearer, it wasn’t too difficult to assemble. It looks pretty and exactly as it was advertised online. However, I did order the larger twelve by ten feet pergola but it was not the size I received. I had my concrete slab measured and then installed a concrete pad according to the measurements provided online. This is because my patio’s concrete slab was too small for it and the pergola must be installed onto a leveled foundation. However, while installing the pergola, we noticed it was too short about two feet. It measured ten by ten feet. Since it isn’t a very large and heavy pergola, we were able to just purchase a concrete pad to install it onto. It seems pretty sturdy and holds up well. Overall, I do recommend this pergola for anyone looking to add a stylish addition to their backyard. It is low maintenance and a quick one day project. It provides good protection from the sun while keeping bugs away. Although I received the smaller size, it is still large enough to accommodate a dining table with seating for six people. Appearance wise, it looks very pretty, exactly as advertised online. It is a modern look with the matte black and beige shade. It is neutral to most decor and easy to blend with patio furniture.. The pergola arrived in good condition. The parts and hardware were labeled well and easy to sort. The instructions were lacking a bit with zero written instructions, only diagrams that occasionally missed the mark. It's sturdy and took 3 adults 3 1/2 hours to assemble, partly because it was a hot day. You'll need a ladder to complete assembly, but everything fits together well. We like the adjustable canvas that allows us to adjust for the changes of the sun throughout the day. It's a great purchase for the price-point. I highly recommend this simple, functional, piece.. This is a very large 12x12 canopy with a wheeled bag. I missed the fact that it came with a wheeled bag and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. The setup is easy and my only two criticisms are the placement of the Velcro straps on the frame, and the size of the bag. The straps end up looped directly over the hinges on every single one (see photos) so make them loose when you’re setting up the canopy. The bag it comes with barely fits this larger canopy and there is zero extra room if you want to add on the side walls later. I’ll probably get a larger bag.
