How do I know the length of track I need for my opening? We suggest your every door is 4"-6" wider than your half opening. And the track length should be equal to your total two doors width and 1ft longer than your opening. For example, if you have two doors that are each 4FT wide. You will need 2 x 4FT = 8FT long track. Or if you have an opening that is 8FT wide, you will need the 9FT long track.

Initially the barn door hardware kit was returned to sender due to a shipping issue. When we contacted the Wayfair customer service desk to inquire they quickly solved the problem and had another hardware kit delivered which arrived in an expedited fashion. We are still awaiting installation and will update our review with pictures once we have the barn doors and hardware put up. If you are installing the hardware on a concrete wall, please send Homacer a message asking for bolts specifically for concrete walls. The hardware package only has lag bolts for wooden wall or drywall. Homacer sliding barn door hardware kit is compatible with door thickness. If you have thinner or thicker door, please contact Homacer for the correct length of the hex bolts of the hangers, or you can get them from your local hardware store. Please also notify Homacer to put spacer extensions in the package if you have thicker doors. The spacer extension will extend the track further from the wall to fit the thicker door. If you have a door trim, you’d better put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the hardware to the header board. From the top of the door to the ceiling, you need to have clearance for u shape bracket bypass hardware. All tracks that are under coming in one piece. All tracks that are above are connected by two tracks using a junction plate.
