We spray painted metal towers and covered shelves with white wood grain contact paper to lighten up this dark set. Quite easy to put together with two people with half stands propped on ottoman. I got two of these and they are perfect. My father made some kind of extended anti-tipping wall anchors since I wanted the shelves on a wall with a baseboard heater so they were a bit far from the wall for the anchors they come with. I included photos. Please ignore my empty photo frames. I needed to stage the shelves so I'll know exactly how it all fits. The shelves are a beautiful color and exactly what I was looking for. Its really sturdy, easy to put together, and came with lots of different brackets and braces to help customize it. I did end up modifying it to fit my small walk-in closet which was about 43x72 so I didnt use the two shelves that came with it. I was afraid of cutting the shelves since it did come with a warning that it should only be cut by professionals. Love my closet now. Before, there were two shallow shelves at the top and two clothing rods on either side of the closet with so much wasted space. These are nice storage cabinets. It took about 8 hours to assemble two units. We put 2 of these cabinets in a nook in a bedroom. They fit perfectly Instructions were clear and helpful. The shelves are stationery but will hold many things. We like the added glass doors at the top, which make it a little nicer in appearance. I gave 4 stars because 1 of the tall doors came with only 2 holes bored for the hinges. So we had to wait for it to be replaced before we could finish. Wayfair is very fast to respond to damage or parts issue and they worked with the manufacturer to get the door replaced in just a few days! It did take 2 people to place the top of the unit onto the bottom half safely. This is a very nice piece and went together very well. The size is great, the lights are great! Overall we love it but it was very hard to build, particularly getting the drawers to align. There was no real clear instructions or markers so it was a guessing game and had to be done so many times & was very frustrating! Glad it’s built, although not perfect & looks great!. Anonymous.
