We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It’s made from solid wood, feels sturdy and well-made. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. A very heavy-duty bed frame that is specialized to fit standard King or standard queen bedding. This frame will not accommodate California or Western King bedding. Frame size must be specified at the time of purchase. The frame is not adjustable and can only fit one size or the other. The dimensions of the king bedding need to be 76"w x 80" long. This frame requires the use of a foundation or box spring. This heavy-duty frame has ten (10) legs that utilize our uniquely designed high-strength glides. The frame using these glides has been tested with a 2000-pound load. The glides are stronger than a wheel while maintaining the same or better mobility. These glides are safe on all flooring surfaces. They will not mark or scuff a wood floor like wheels. This frame sits approximately 8" off the floor. If no headboard is used, the headboard brackets can be left off and the bed centered on the frame, assuring that the frame cannot bump and damage the wall. All tools are included for a simple, quick, trouble-free assembly process. Headboard brackets are included and must be bolted onto the frame to ensure maximum adjustability to fit all designs of headboards. I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. The bed itself is beautiful and it came out looking really nice. The delivery has much to be worked on. The boxes were extremely heavy and were left on the first level of my apartment complex. there was no options at checkout to have it delivered to Room of Choice. Then I scheduled Wayfair assembly and they went to the wrong house and left thinking I wasn't home. I had to call customer service to beg them to come back. The man who assembled it was nice and he did a good job with assembly. I would recommend this bed to anyone but be mindful of scheduling and delivery options because it is very heavy if you dont live on the first floor with no elevator that will be an issue.. Lynne.
