I LOVE this couch. Yes it’s not soft and fluffy to sit in but my thought process is that it will last longer. I did put dark gray seat covers on it because of 4 little ankle biters shedding. There is not a lot of cushion on the seat, just what is built in (no separate cushions), but it is still comfortable. We were worried the gems on the seat would be uncomfortable to sit on, but you could not feel them at all. The white pillows are soft. Jury is still out on if I want to keep the white fuzzy pillows or replace with something else to tie in with my room though. Very simple to assemble - screw in the legs, and slide the back, seat, and arms together. It feels sturdy so I think it will hold up well. As several other reviews have mentioned, the assembly while straightforward is a little tricky. The couch arrives in three different boxes. One box has the bench seat which contains the legs and cushions inside the bottom of it. You will need two people minimum to assemble this couch. Once you lineup, the pieces like the arm and the seat you will have to push down, but you won’t see it going in so you have to line it up really well before you start pushing it in. it’s easy to get one side in and then not get the other side in. for the first arm attachment, we stood the seat up on its end, making it easier. with two people it took about 30 minutes to unpack it and assemble it. The legs look OK but they’re just inexpensive plastic so they’re not that beautiful. You might want to replace them with custom legs. Luckily there are lots of places that sell really cool furniture legs if you want something nicer. I think the couch is very comfortable. It has a generous size seat. It is a firmer couch, but the wide arms are really comfy to lean on and it’s comfortable when you stretch out on it. It looks really great. The fabric is nice and the pillows are very high-quality. Im still letting the pillows breath, is big but im not a big fan of the pillows for the back, for my taste they are to low. All in all a good couch so far. Definitely dog approved! It is cozy to lay on, which is nice. We have other modular furniture that isnt as comfy to actually lay across so thats a great bonus. I did expect this to be high a high back and its not, the pillows do stand up higher but not the actual couch. There is a noticeable gap between the cushions and the arm rests which I dont love but its not a huge deal.
