Living in central Texas makes for hot nights. This bedspread is perfect for this climate. It is lightweight, yet heavy enough to keep you warm on cool nights. Being 100 cotton makes it ideal if you sleep hot. It doesn’t trap bodyheat like polyester does. I recommend washing it before putting it on the bed. It has a LOT of lintfuzz from the embroidery. I love this set. I have queen bed but put the jumbo king comforter on bed and used the queen size comforter to fold as a blanket to show the underneath side. The bed skirt is the one for the set that was purchased separately. The shams are a mix of king and queen size. There are down comforters underneath the decorative comforter to add the puffy look.
