These are nice sheets, they are definitely feeling as if they are 100 cotton. These are nice and lightweight sheets. They do seem a little in the thinthread bear side. Before I washed these sheets they felt softer. Almost like they might be a brushed cotton. Or Sateen. Now the sheets feel stiffer and crisp. Which isn’t a bad thing. These are bright white, and durable after washing and drying. Seem to be high quality. Not a single thread came loose after washing. They do wrinkle and are not silky smooth. But the percale is cool in the summer and it lasts a lot longer than sateen weave. Percale takes a while to soften up, so I expect these to soften after about 15 washes like my other sheets. I ordered the slate gray and they are definitely not gray if you're really looking for that color. They are a nice color of pale blue (see photos) and the sheets are soft and appear to be good quality. They had a strong odor upon opening the box but once washed they are fine. I love the red but the gray is more like an army green. I love the quality of the sheet set and the I love that the pillow cases have an envelope closure so the pillow never slides out. In the inside of the case there is a big piece sew at the pillow case opening in that you pull out and cover the end of the pillow! I can highly recommend the Lacoste Red color but not the grey that looks more like green. The Pillow cases and sheet are excellent quality. I was so happy to find a YouTube hack on removing wrinkles (without ironing) from 100 cotton sheets and pillow cases. Just sprits with water and stretch.
