UPDATE: August 24th 2026: The tarp was damaged due to heavy rain and I tried for two weeks to work with this company, the manufacturer, and the insurance with no appropriate resolution. This incident made me aware of how scamish and fraudulent these insurance companies are. The representatives were rude and in the end just refunded me for the policy - horrible service! Wayfair kept rerouting me to the insurance without seeming to understand what I was trying to explain. I like it! I did 90% of the assembly alone. You need help putting on legs. Putting on snow load supports is a little tricky alone, they are tight. I only attached 8 bunges cords before I put on legs so I could work in the shade. I had to stand on a step stool for sides and used a 6' ladder for peaks. I live on the coast so I used 12 tie downs. The standard 8 (one I had to just go straight down, no room) and 2 each in the interior front and back. I used screw in type supports and 550 paracord and cinch knotted on the inside supports. I used 1/8" wire and turnbuckles on outside supports. I put 1 1/2" PVC over exteror supports to protect people and pets from running into/hurting themselves. I also think it will be easier for yard trimmer. I would love to say it took me 3 hours but in reality it took me most of the day. What a nice product offered by Wayfair. I would have never imagined that Wayfair would offer a carport. This one was so easy to assemble. The cover is heavy duty and seems like it will stand up to the weather where we live. There are sides that we opted not to put on so the car would fit easier and we would have more room to get in and out. It’s nice that the sides are optional. Only took about 2 hours to get the carport up and usable. If we decide to add the sides on, it looks like an easy task just like the main section. Love this port. Not hard to assemble and has been pretty stable since we put it up. Even with a few bad storms blowing through it held up. I did attempt to buy a different canopytarp for it to better match the shed it’s next too, however the specs were off. I recommend measuring the port before buying any accessories.. Jamar. This heavy-duty canopy carport is nice and largely spacious. The assembly wasnt too complicated. The canopy material is thick and durable however the stitching should have been reinforced because a strong wind could cause ripping.
