Love this rug! I its so soft and the quality is really great. I searched for weeks trying to find a rug at an affordable price that was somewhat environmentally friendly and not made of plastic. I just don’t understand the reviews about it shedding too much. I ran over it twice with my vacuum after un-rolling it and really have had no issues. I just vacuum over it any time I vacuum my floors. A wool rug does require at least some minimal effort when you first get it. If you’re someone who doesn’t regularly vacuum maybe a wool rug in general just isn’t for you Basically, don’t listen to the reviews about people having to return it because it sheds too much.. This rug is a starting point for a room we are repurposing into a small den for reading & TV so won't get a lot of traffic. Having said that, it appears to be well-bound and did not have an odor (something I have read on other rug posts). There are lots of colors so lots of decorating possibilities! There is a photo with paint chips and for reference, the dark middle color in the rug matches Glidden Mountain Pine, so more green (I thought it was Navy). We are tending toward the bluey green but one could easily paint walls in off whites, beiges even peachy pink. There is far more variation in color within the design that makes it really pretty. The colors in this rug are gorgeous and the pile height is perfect. I gave it a 4 because there are a few imperfections. Some sticky tape like substance close to the corner that is stuck to the fiber and a little piece, maybe 3/4 inch that doesn't have any stitching on it. Otherwise I would buy this again!. Erica.
