Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This outdoor light is much nicer than I expected it to be. It’s very sturdy weather resistant metal with LED light strip encased under lens. It’s pretty cool in that each side metal are like wings. You can put them back against the lamp leaving a wide opening straight in front (shown in my photo) or you can angle them in any position both the same or completely independent per side, all the way until they touch in the middle, which makes it look like a very thin strip of light in the middle and two wider strips on the sides, allowing you to have a different look whenever you want. The other cool options are color tone switchable and dimmable. You have to provide your own switch but they sell a switch that is dimmable as well as 4 position click so you can do both. If you only have your normal in and off switch, you won’t be able to do the dimmable feature, but you can switch between 3000k, 4000k, and 5000k simply by turning off and in to cycle through. This would look nice as a pair- one on each side of the door or each side of the garage door. I even thought it would look nice to have several that were attached to the posts around the deck railing. As you can see in the photo, it’s even bright in daylight. It is hardwired for outdoor use, but if they decide to have an option of a plug in, I think I’d like these as hallway lights, above paintings, over doorways, or even in stairwells since you can angle the lamp“Wings”. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone.
