We have had this for a year and a half. It is so Sturdy and heavy. Makes the back patio usable with the afternoon sun. I set it so the edges fit under the gutters so light rain doesn’t get the patio wet. I should have put one up years ago.We have had heavier wind this past year and a few strong storms but the whole thing has only moved a few inches. So just this week we screwed the posts down.. We just finished setting up this pergola, and so far, we’re really impressed. The design is clean and modern, and the materials feel good quality. The aluminum frame is sturdy, and the adjustable canopy glides smoothly. It instantly upgraded our outdoor space. Assembly took a few hours and definitely works best with two people, but everything was well-labeled and the instructions were easy to follow. We haven’t had it long enough to comment on how it holds up in bad weather, but based on the build, it feels like it should do well. So far, it’s a solid addition to our patio and we’re looking forward to enjoying it through the seasons.. Tania. San Antonio, TX. Mon Sep 22 2025
