10 Ft Closet Rod

This valet rod slides out to temporarily accommodate your intended wardrobe for the day or a few smaller accessories like handbags and lightweight totes. The main rod is crafted from metal with a sleek chrome finish, and a round finial is attached to the end to make sure hangers don't slide off. It's attached to a protector that comes in a muted white tone for a bit of contrast. This part attaches to the wall or a grid closet component for a more uniform design that doesn't stand out. It has a weight capacity of 7 lbs. total.

The ClosetMaid Impressions Adjustable Teardrop Closet Rod allows you to customize the size to fit your closet's exact shape, expanding from 30 in. to 48 in. The teardrop design of the sturdy steel rod allows for a higher load capacity than a standard round bar. It also helps hangers slide easily. Add another rod to double-hang shirts over pants or hang high for longer items like dresses.

I installed the rods at exactly 48 inches. They feel lightweight but sturdy, and the hanging brackets feel sturdy too. The instructions were a little unclear, and I wasn’t sure what the extra screws were for, but I was able to install them. If you have the space, I’d recommend choosing a larger size for more support in the middle. I don’t plan to pack mine tightly; I’ll use them for my seasonal and most-worn clothes.. Kahrla_g. Ig. Great curtain rod! Adds a touch of industrial, very sturdy and easy to install. The only issue I had was with the middle connection. The grip slid off and the edges are a bit sharp, so be careful if curtain fabric is touching the rod directly as it can rip them (if grip is off). Definitely buying one of these for my living room!.
