It took me about 2.5-3 hours to put it all together for the first time and fluff it up; it's nice to be able to make adjustments in order to really "fill it in" to my tastes! Looking at it, I can't tell that it's fake, minus the lack of fir smell, of course :) I only wish the middle section locked into place somehow with the base section, as moving it once it's all fluffed is difficult, otherwise.
