Solar shades block exposure to the sun's heat and UV rays while imparting an unfussy style to your space. This outdoor shade is a perfect pick for pergolas, patios, and other structures, featuring a PVC construction that makes it semi-sheer, so you can enjoy the beauty of the outdoors without the glare. A cordless cable guide system rolls this design up and down with the touch of a button, while an aluminum valance protects it when not in use. Plus, it includes a two-year hardware warranty and a five-year motor and fabric warranty.
IMPORTANT: This motorized shade series features a plug-in motor. The 10' AC plug-in cord MUST be plugged in to operate the shade. The cord is located on the right side of the shade.
As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As itās getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. As a result, I canāt figure out a way to automate this blind without using SwitchBot bots.. Kevin. Denver. Thu Apr 30 2026
