This is a replacement for us. Our last one was ruined in a big wind storm. I chose this one based on it was suppose to be heavier. This gazebo is sturdy. I like the look of it as well. We did have many pieces come bent and screws missing. They did offer us a resolution and agreed to send new parts. So customer service was good. Once my husband was able to get all the pieces working I do like the final look. The legs are not solid wood but wood pieces. However it is still heavy and sturdy. No damage to wood. Not a bad gazebo for the price point. The only note I’d like to make when considering this gazebo is that each one of the metal panels is covered in a very thin sheet of plastic(both sides) that has to be removed before installation and it’s not an easy plastic to remove. The gazebo looks amazing. We bought it for its look and its wind rating. Took about 2.5 days with power tools. Would recommend organizing all the pieces first. It’s a beautiful gazebo once it’s set up. Our family friend who’s a contractor put it up for us in a day. It’s solid and mounted to our wood deck. The curtains are an added bonus although they occasionally loosen after tying. There’s an indie hook at the top of the ceiling that can be used to hang a light fixture. Theirs is also a zippered area at the top of the ceiling designed to keep debris on the roof from falling below on the inside of the gazebo. We also strung lights on the inside. We received the boxes to put this together and the base was easy to put together. We are not skilled in putting these together and the roof structure was complicated as some details could have been better explained in the 78 pages of instructions. It looks good in the photos, but far from what was espected. Even though the instructions are fairly good and the packaging was excellent, the time to assemble for 2 people is no where near 6-8 hours. The time to assemble is 2 to 3 times that. ihad to throw out all the roofing screws because they would strip out or would have come loose in the wind. I replaces with full thread roofing screws. The hup roof is designed with two j channels back to back that leaves an opening of about 1/2 inch for water to get in, I ended up filling with silicon. We finally got this gazebo up. Love the final look but it was a process to get here. It took 3 people roughly 10-12 hours to complete this. The instructions are fine but I think order of them could make more sense for the roof attachment. The instructions also never tell you what tools to use if each step which would have been nice. There’s so many parts that we needed a little more guidance with that part. We also had all 4 of the posts scratched upon arrival. They scratch easy but thankfully it comes with touch up stain. We used different anchor bolts to attach the base to our concrete because it didn’t seem to work with the 38” hole that they recommend.
