These pots are deep and can hold large plants. There’s plenty of space for roots to form inside the pot. The pot has a plug in the bottom that can be removed to allow drainage. I just opened up the package from wayfair and saw the blue planter i ordered. Very pretty blue, but much bigger ( taller) than i expected. But as i get used to the size i think it will look beautiful on my patio with some smaller pots, and the height allows for roots to expand and plants to GROW nice and large.
