I was looking for a light weight down and this fit the bill. It was for a guest bedroom. Everyone sleep’s different, some cold and some hot. Now that it is summer I’ve folded and placed at the base of the bed to be pulled up if the air conditioning gets too cold. I have never owned a duvet, always just comforters. This is wonderfully soft and pretty light weight but kept me comfortable all night. I wasn’t too hot or too cold…just right. The duvet cover I bought had ties for the top bottom and sides, but the insert only has loops on the corners. Being a king size I wish it had more loops but as of right now it has worked nicely..
