This pain is as close as it gets to perfection! It heats evenly, is scratch-resistant (no plastic or silicone tools required) and is as close to non-stick as any other pan I've tried and I've tried several! It's so much less finicky than my stainless steel or carbon steel pans. Worth every single penny and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. The size is perfect for things like browning taco meat or large batches of sauce. The high sides mean that my stove top stays clean because nothing is splashing over the edges. Great product, poor shipping prep. Love the Braiser - the peche is gorgeous and the price for the 5qt is unbeatable. Le Creuset makes incredibly wonderful products. Only issue is how Wayfair ships the item - they leave it in the Le Creuset box with no additional padding. My pot arrived with several scratches on it and the box was incredibly beaten up. I already did this review on the first skillet that I received.. the first one arrived looking like it had been through a hurricane. The shipping box was fine, but the actual box that the skillet was in, was a mess! It was filthy dirty, smashed and torn . The skillet was scuffed, but it still did a nice job cooking.
