3-LAYER ENAMEL COATING: Lava cast iron dutch oven has been coated with 3 layers of enamel with 3 stages of firing technique. Primer layer protects the product against corrosion, gives resistance to high temperatures and thermal shock, the 2nd layer enamel gives high scratch and wear resistance and creates a flavor layer, 3rd layer enamel makes a smooth, attractive surface that is easily cleaned and adds a perfect elegance in presentation. PROTECTIVE GLASS ENAMEL: The cooking surface of this cast iron pot is glass enamel. Since this enamel shows the properties of glass, it has a transparent color, so the inner surface preserves its original casting color. Glass is a natural and a non-toxic coating that will protect the surface and maintain it for longer periods of time. Not only it makes this cookware versatile and easy to use but also gives a smooth and shiny surface that is both easy to clean and requires no seasoning before use. HEAT RETENTION: This dutch oven. capacity and it weighs with the lid. Its slow heat distribution and strong heat retention make it great for medium and low-heat cooking, from slow-cooking meats to roasting vegetables to boiling pasta, deep-frying, poaching, and almost any other cooking task you can think of. The smooth interior makes sure that everything inside is cooked evenly, and it releases food easily. It can be used on all kitchen stovetops (except the microwave), and it's oven safe to 500 degrees F. PRESERVES VITAMIN&AROMA: The special design lid offers a unique feature. Spikes on the Lava lids create a self-basting system, where the lid's spikes, flatness, weight and tight fit create a perfect environment for steam to rise, condense, and evenly drip back for more tenderness and flavor. This makes your food juicy, tender, and more flavorful. HOW TO CLEAN LAVA ENAMELED CAST IRON: Although Lava enameled cast iron is dishwasher safe, hand washing with warm soapy water and a nylon scrub brush is recommended to preserve the cookware's original appearance. Always dry cookware thoroughly and replace pot protectors between the rim and lid before storing in a cool, dry place. To remove stubborn baked-on food, boil 2 cups of water and 4 tablespoons of baking soda. Boil for a few minutes, then use a pan scraper to loosen the food

I have only used regular stove pressure cookers before so this electric one was a little different but SO MUCH easier to use. I didn’t think it came with a lot of recipes (it only had a little booklet in the box) but then I realized there was a link where I could download an entire recipe book with over 100 recipes. I’m so glad I got it before the holidays, it will make cooking for my family and guests so much less stressful!. Tiana512. Austin, TX. Wed Feb 02 2022

Eela possesses a graceful pleated wall, seamlessly-integrated handles, and a stylized bakelite lid knob making it nothing short of functional artistry. Regarded as Neoflam's flagship cookware line, Eela is feature-rich and extremely lightweight. Eela's cutting-edge design and color make it the least boring piece of cookware in your arsenal. Eela's cast aluminum design provides multiple advantages over its competitors; known for its exceptional durability and high heat conductivity, cast aluminum is rising in popularity as a safe and affordable alternative to stainless steel. At just 1/3 the weight of cast iron, cast aluminum's even heat distribution properties allow for fast cooking and reduced energy consumption. Professional grade non-stick, ceramic coating. Derived from the earth's minerals, PFOA is free. Is applied to both the interior and exterior of the product, sustaining the product's durability while also facilitating convenience in cleaning. It is best not to use metal utensils on any nonstick surface. Neoflam recommends silicone or wooden utensils to maximize the lifetime of the cookware. For cookware with steam vent lids, be careful as to not place your grip over the vent as hot steam is released from this hole. For cookware with die-cast aluminum, the lid is oven safe up to 356 degrees F/180 degrees C. For cookware with silicone grips, be sure to use silicone grips when cookware is heated to prevent burns. Do not leave silicone grips in the oven when heating/cooking food.

My first order had damaged lid but Wayfair was quick to send a replacement. The pot is very cheerful to look at - not the typical color Ill go with but makes me smile every time I see it next to my boring stainless steel cookware. I am waiting for the bigger pot to be back in stock. I really like this piece. It cleans easily and is not super heavy. The handles can be more comfortable and having to use the silicone sleeves is annoying but for the price youre getting a prettu good deal.. Y. IL. Thu Feb 15 2024

I have the vibrant blue one. I find 3 quart Dutch ovens are great for bread requiring 3 cups of flour, 4 quart Dutch ovens are great for the artisan breads requiring 4 cups, and the 5 quart (4.75 in this case) is excellent for recipes calling for 6 cups, often a doubled up recipe. Looking forward to using this with my German Bauernbrot bread. I’ve had good luck with Lava cookware.. Murray. Pincher Creek, AB. Wed Apr 19 2023

This is what they call a true natural tagine. It is so beautiful, fragile yet very strong you can use it on the stove top at a low heat, in the oven (up to 350F) as well as on any grill. This tagine needs to be seasoned before first use. This process ensures long life and strength and adds a typical earthy tagine flavor to your cooking. The tagine is handmade; hand shaped into its form; therefore, the uneven and asymmetrical shape which is typical. This tagine is food safe, but it is not dishwasher safe.
