This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. About a month ago I broke my glass shade for my ceiling fan. I had the model number and UPC Number. I spent the last month calling manufacturers and on-line sites trying to get the correct replacement shade. No success. I finally called Wayfair (Should have been my first call). The representative was very helpful and knowledgeable. The representative spent at least 10 minutes verifying I was ordering the correct item. The representative even sent me a photo of the light kit to ensure that this was the kit that I had. I ordered the part at a great savings compared to other sites.
