This has worked well for us. Way to out together and produces a great compost. One thing to note is that the compost can rest on the bottom ledge inside which can make it difficult to open the doors. The Upcycle Tumbling Composter is an upcycled food-grade barrel set on a rotating axis for easy compost aeration. It is about 4 feet tall and only requires a 3-foot by 4-foot area. You can put it in a smaller area for storage, but you'll need that much space free from obstacles to spin the barrel properly Eliminate back strain with this hip-level composter. The best garden tools are those that fit your style. If you prefer to work at waist level, this elevated compost maker is perfect. Using a rocking motion to build momentum, a compost tumbler is relatively easy to turn. Due to the aeration, the initial volume of added content will be reduced in half creating a powerful fertilizer/mulch for your lawn or garden needs. The composter body is made from repurposed High-Density Polyethylene Plastic from imported food barrels. You can be a part of keeping hard-to-break-down plastics from being added to landfills while also adding back valuable nutrients into the ground with compost.

It was out of stock for months and is seriously expensive so I knocked it down a star. At first, when I ordered it they said I wouldn't get it for several more months (we're looking at close to a year wait at this point) but it showed up just a week after my order went through. The composter itself looks sturdy though it's too new to tell for long-term durability. It was easy to put together. I had my heart set on THIS composter, and sadly couldn't find it anywhere else, trust me I looked. I planned to turn it into R2D2. Which I did. The body took the spray paint well.
