A blade chops herbs; a pestle bruises them, and that is a different flavour. The Alva Nori 2-Cup Cast Iron Mortar and Pestle crushes garlic, spices and herbs rather than slicing them, rupturing the cells so the essential oils come out into the food instead of staying locked inside. Solid cast iron gives it the weight to do that with almost no effort from you, and the mass keeps the mortar planted on the counter instead of skidding. Two cups is enough for a curry paste or a batch of pesto, not just a clove of garlic. The interior develops a naturally seasoned patina with use. Made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead or cadmium. Hand wash and dry. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.

I like the heaviness of this mortar and pestle. I use it a lot. I am using it for smashing garlic, grinding cumin and other spices and herbs. I am learning other uses for this too. It is a good size. It does need to be dried after washing and this is not a problem for me. I highly recommend this.. Cary. CT. Thu Jan 08 2026

During the summer time, wasps can ruin the mood outside when there are sweet things involved. This glass wasp trap will make that a thing of the past. Fill the glass jar with lemonade or vinegar to lure the wasps to the trap. Because of its construction wasps can get in, but they cannot get out.

These traps are an easy, safe way to get those wasps! I used to have a smaller set, and was pleasantly surprised by the larger size of these. I simply use sugar water. Well worth me getting two more!. Stephanie. Woodhaven, MI. Sun Sep 27 2026

The Terra dual-batch tumbling composter is a practical, yet elegant way to eliminate organic waste and convert it into compost for your garden. The easy-to-tumble composter reduces the need to manually turn compost piles. At the same time, the patented dual-batch system prevents compost mixing and speeds up the composting process.

I like that I didnt have to screw but 2 bolts. The frame snaps together and the tumbler only needs the center partition placed and then the door slides on. 10 minutes! Its nice and sturdy, and easy to tumble. The compost will be easy to remove by sliding the door open and rotating it downward. My compost is only a week into the making and its 80 degrees. A few more weeks to go! Its made in either the USA or Canada and I like that! Good choice, good price.. Penny. Sat Mar 12 2022

The one I had previously has been turned into a coffee ground respoitory to disturb the chipmunks. It never was quite large enough to serve well as a compost bin. So, I went looking and THIS is the perfect size for me. It is just me, but I think most couples would not need anything larger. It doesn't take a huge amount of space from my counter, either.. For the price I paid I cannot complain. However I have been using a 25 year old KA mixer baking Christmas cookies with friends. The quality on the older model was much better… as they say, they don’t build ‘em like they used to! Mostly notice the difference in quality of the bowl (no handle! what) and the attachments.. The Upcycle Tumbling Composter is an upcycled food-grade barrel set on a rotating axis for easy compost aeration. It is about 4 feet tall and only requires a 3-foot by 4-foot area. You can put it in a smaller area for storage, but you'll need that much space free from obstacles to spin the barrel properly Eliminate back strain with this hip-level composter. The best garden tools are those that fit your style. If you prefer to work at waist level, this elevated compost maker is perfect. Using a rocking motion to build momentum, a compost tumbler is relatively easy to turn. Due to the aeration, the initial volume of added content will be reduced in half creating a powerful fertilizer/mulch for your lawn or garden needs. The composter body is made from repurposed High-Density Polyethylene Plastic from imported food barrels. You can be a part of keeping hard-to-break-down plastics from being added to landfills while also adding back valuable nutrients into the ground with compost.

It was out of stock for months and is seriously expensive so I knocked it down a star. At first, when I ordered it they said I wouldn't get it for several more months (we're looking at close to a year wait at this point) but it showed up just a week after my order went through. The composter itself looks sturdy though it's too new to tell for long-term durability. It was easy to put together. I had my heart set on THIS composter, and sadly couldn't find it anywhere else, trust me I looked. I planned to turn it into R2D2. Which I did. The body took the spray paint well. The legs and lid did not. But I'm happy with my little working droid. :) It really was the perfect composter to be R2.. Marcia. Huntsville, AL. Fri Oct 15 2021
