Solid and assembly was straight forward. However, we had a very difficult time attaching one wall because the hardware was recessed deeply in the wood. This made it so the male end was unable to reach the female end. We had to remove hardware and add small shims to push hardware out. Beutiful piece, nice costruction and material. Bought it because of the redwood and the curved window compared to others. I'm 6'3" and I was ok for size. Be careful of the door when umpacking, the glass is unsecured and can swing. I'd recommend running a piece of tape through the handle hole and around the door jam until you get it in place.
