Platinum Bright Embers (PBE) are catalytic embers for your vented gas fireplace or log set. When placed on top of existing mineral wool ember beds, the catalytic embers combust unburned fuel from the burner to provide a dynamically more realistic-looking ember. In addition to creating a bright flickering appearance like that of real wood ember beds, these embers radiate broadband infrared heat thus creating a warmer fire and reducing the formation of soot on gas logs. Platinum bright embers work by combusting fugitive hydrocarbons from the burner catalytically which causes the embers to flow and fluoresce. Good combustion requires fuel and air so proper installation is key to the best aesthetic and efficiency improvements to the fireplace. Begin by lighting the fire after proper installation. Using a pair of long needle nose pliers or hemostats, take a single square of the PBE, gently pull it apart to expose more air to the internal parts of the ember, and place it at the base of the fire atop the existing mineral wool fibers, vermiculite, or sand. Once the ember reacts with the fuel and air, it will begin to glow providing a visual indication of how the product is intended to work. Place the remaining embers according to your preference taking care not to clump the material together. If starved for combustion air, the embers will fail to glow.

I really don’t know how to review this, it wasn’t really what I expected. It looks like treated asbestos or something like that. Very small pieces and a very tiny bag. I didn’t find any directions with it, so I’m going to have to ask my fireplace guy when I have them install an instant on switch to my gas log set. I will update my review when I get that done. UPDATE: I finally had my new gas logs installed and they came with the fake embers. They looked pretty much like the product I received from Wayfair, so I just placed them randomly over the embers that came with the log set. The first fire picture below is without and the second picture is with the Platinum Bright Embers and you can really see the difference! They give off a bright platinum glow and I love it. Worth the extra investment to make a fake fire look that much more realistic.. Deborah. Macedonia, OH. Sun Dec 29 2024

Add warmth and character to your outdoor space with the Round Cast Iron Wood Burning Smokeless Chiminea. Standing 45 inches tall with a 22-inch diameter fire bowl, this chiminea combines traditional style with modern engineering. Constructed from durable cast iron and steel, it features 360° mesh screening for full fire visibility and a smoke-directing chimney cap that keeps smoke away from your guests. The sliding door allows easy access for adding logs, while the ashtray ensures quick cleanup after use. Designed for wood or artificial logs, this versatile chiminea provides cozy warmth, a smokeless burn, and elegant style—perfect for year-round outdoor enjoyment.

Fire pit is nice, but it is not fully cast iron. Only the top part and the lid are cast iron parts. The base it sheet metal and the legs are sheet metal. If you push it along the ground too hard one of the legs may buckle. Its only about 40% cast iron. I was expecting the base and legs to be cast iron. The price was low so so I will keep it. I had a fully cast iron chiminea that lasted about 25 yrs. I was trying to get another of similar quality. There is no way this one is going to last 25 years. If it lasts 5 years then it would still be a win due to the low price.. Carl. Olney, MD. Tue May 05 2026

This 260,000 BTU commercial burner features a cast iron head with 0-20 PSI precision control. The military-grade powder-coated frame supports 15kg loads. Includes explosion-proof steel hose for turkey frying/syrup making—ready to cook in 3 mins.

I haven’t tried it yet but everything looks good on it… hopefully it will work. Ada. Hayesville, NC. Mon Sep 14 2026

Designed by german kaschkasch, has proven yet again that even the most useful, everyday object can be clever, elegant, and deserving of appreciation. The set includes the t-stand, tong, poker, shovel, and brush. The wooden handles feature a strong built-in magnet that holds the tools securely to the stand when not in use. The complete toolset becomes a decorative item in your living space. Ashi is available in two styles black powder-coated steel – with a blackened oak wood handle or with a brown oak wood handle. The fireplace tool set coordinates beautifully with the ASHI firewood basket. A collection name could not be more fitting as the term ASHI comes from the Japanese word meaning reed. The shape of ASHI is inspired by the swaying reeds that grow in abundance in shallow water; the handle has a similar contour, and the stick resembles the strong, hollow stems that have been used for centuries as a material for the production of baskets.

Love this set. But beware the wood wish will chip on the handles and you’ll be left with lighter wood flecks (if you are getting the black finish). Jessica. Hamilton, ON. Tue May 19 2026

Well made, burns well and almost smokeless depending on the wood you burn. Makes for an enjoyable fire. We have used it twice now and each time it worked well. No more hair and clothes smelling of smoke. Highly recommended although I have deducted 1 star because the supplied is falling apart after 1 month. Where the mesh part is joined to the solid part is separating. A more sturdier cover would be great. Improvements I would suggest are fitting carrying handles on the body somehow and lengthening the supplied poker - its just too short. Overall we are pleased!. Bill R.. Wed Jun 24 2026

Nothing completes a lazy summer (or winter) day like cozying up to a warm fire. Our fire pits were designed for life outdoors, where great conversations and memories are made. Crafted from thick gauge, fully seam welded corten steel, all fire pits are proven to resist weather-related issues such as cracking in both winter and summer months. The fire pit’s corten steel construction ensures that the structure will only exhibit surface rust for aesthetic purposes and never rust through over time. Its raised height will keep the warmth close to you while the open underside acts as a storage space for logs so you don't have to make multiple trips to the shed! It is important to note that all corten steel fire pits are shipped in their raw steel state, gradually developing a rich rust patina finish over time.

Create a cozy patio setting as you watch the flames dance from this unique fire bowl

I've had this fire pit for several years now. I will say, it's held up well for all the abuse I've given it! Some very big, hot fires. I use it for yard/tree debris, and the occasional, sit around the fire with a glass or two of wine. It's been left out in the rain and snow and none the worse for it. My only complaint is the design cut into the metal. A few more connections would have made it better. Some of the deer/antlers have warped, probably from the heat, and are leaning out. Other than that, a nice buy.. Laurie. Waterford, PA. Fri Mar 15 2024

This fireplace tool set stores neatly together to save space anywhere. Place the shovel and brush inside the bucket to keep all pieces together and ready for use.
