Used this WL550 sealer on a powerwashed 20+ year old patio. This product did a good job reviving some color without the fake looking shine of sealers with glossy finishes. I wouldn't call it a 100% "wet look' when done -- would have preferred a little darker -- but given the age of the patio, the results were pretty good. I used about 2 1/3 gallons to cover 365 sq ft using a pump sprayer. Product had a strong odor, but it dissipated soon after the job. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. I haven’t finished installing them yet, but the paving stones are very pretty. They’re a good size, have nice color variation across the pieces, and are nicely brightening up the side of my house. They arrived on a small, less than 2x3’ pallet that will be easy to dispose of, and the drivers were easy to contact, friendly, and right on time. 2 of 20 pieces were broken, but I consider some breakage normal whenever you’re shipping tile or stone. By reducing surface water absorption, cracking, spalling, pitting, mold, mildew, algae, staining, and other damage and deterioration caused by surface water absorption will also be reduced.

Great product for protecting concrete. Be careful with how you want to apply this product. I used a plastic container and sprayer, and this sealer literally melted the plastic/ spraying wand. I had to buy stailess steel sprayer to apply this sealer. Also, use a very good quality gloves to avoid any skin rash. It would be great if the supplier supplied MSDS sheet and warning label to not to use any plastic sprayer. Product is excellent, easy to apply! Can't say I love the result. Because I have to dump water from this mini pond I thought it may be easier than real rock (I'm 70), but these are heavy & I had to cut one down on back side. This is within my catio, this boy was born deaf. Also had to order two packs to get coverage, so have three more to place somewhere. These are an inexpensive solution to a very expensive problem. The prior owners of my house painted the deck boards with indoor latest paint. As you can see, it didn’t last very long.
