I already did this review on the first skillet that I received.. the first one arrived looking like it had been through a hurricane. The shipping box was fine, but the actual box that the skillet was in, was a mess! It was filthy dirty, smashed and torn . The skillet was scuffed, but it still did a nice job cooking. Have cooked many things with it and everything turns out great. You can keep the heat at a lower setting and it cooks evenly and doesn't burn. My family loved the pot roast that I made in it.. Mimi. The Armor WL550 is a penetrating, matte wet look water repellent sealer. It penetrates deep into the substrate where it chemically reacts to form a hydrophobic barrier within the pores that reduces surface water absorption. It will darken the surface to slightly enhance any dull and faded coloring. The Armor WL550 is made from high-quality, non-recycled, US-manufactured resins. It is designed for unsealed concrete, brick, pavers, natural stone, and porous masonry. It works entirely below the surface and won’t leave a surface film. By reducing surface water absorption, cracking, spalling, pitting, mold, mildew, algae, staining, and other damage and deterioration caused by surface water absorption will also be reduced.

Used this WL550 sealer on a powerwashed 20+ year old patio. This product did a good job reviving some color without the fake looking shine of sealers with glossy finishes. I wouldn't call it a 100% "wet look' when done -- would have preferred a little darker -- but given the age of the patio, the results were pretty good. I used about 2 1/3 gallons to cover 365 sq ft using a pump sprayer. Product had a strong odor, but it dissipated soon after the job. Haven't yet evaluated the sealing properties, but my main purpose was to improve the look.. Debra. Arlington Heights, IL. Sun Jun 02 2024

The Armor AX25 combines two great products into one! It will darken the surface and enhance any dull and faded coloring, and protect the surface with a durable high gloss surface film. The Armor AX25 is a fantastic sealer if you are looking to bring out dull and faded surfaces, enhance surfaces with a high gloss wet look finish, and provide superior water repellency benefits to the surface. The Armor AX25 also doubles as a cure and seal and can be applied to new concrete. The Armor AX25 is made from high quality, non-recycled, US manufactured resins. It is non-yellowing, breathable, and low VOC. The protective high gloss film will reduce damage and deterioration caused by surface abrasion and water absorption including cracking, spalling, pitting, dusting, and the growth of mold, mildew, and algae.

I applied the Foundation Armor AX25 to my concrete driveway this fall, and the final result is outstanding. For prep, I made sure to thoroughly degrease the entire surface first. I applied two coats using a 3/8" solvent-resistant nap roller, and it laid down perfectly with absolutely no lap marks—which is usually my biggest concern with rolled clear coats. Coverage was right on the money. It took about four gallons to get two solid coats down on a double driveway plus a 20x3 foot walkway. I rolled it out on a day when it hit 20°C (68°F), dropping down to about 7°C (45°F) overnight, and it cured beautifully without any issues. I also mixed in SharkGrip for traction. Slip-resistant additives can sometimes dull a clear coat or cause it to streak, but the AX25 maintained a brilliant, high-gloss wet look even with the aggregate mixed in. It looks amazing and cured to a hard, professional-grade finish. Highly recommended.. Jeff. Calgary, AB. Tue Oct 06 2026
