Easy to put together if you follow the directions, but there are A LOT of parts. Great storage and space for our bearded dragon. I only gave 4 stars because there's no protection on the plastic pieces (that serve as the "glass") and they scratch immediately. Our bearded dragon glass surfed the first time she was put in and it immediately messed up the clear sections.. Michelle. TX. Sun Sep 20 2026

This submersible filter quietly delivers crystal clear water throughout turtle tanks and reptile terrariums. It cycles water at 175 Gallons per Hour (GPH) for tanks up to 50 Gallons in size. It also works well with aquariums! Accommodating: The adjustable flow switch allows for increased or decreased water flow at will. The directional flow nozzle allows for additional tank customization and convenience. Furthermore, the filter utilizes 4 suction cups, allowing for both vertical and horizontal mounting positions. Fully Submersible: This filter utilizes 2 media chambers, and comes with filter media: 1 refillable carbon cartridge and 1 bio-sponge. In addition to optimizing the colonization of anaerobic bacteria, this filter traps floating particulate matter, removes harmful chemicals and toxins, clears up discolorations, and reduces foul odors from your tank’s water. Venturi Aeration: This filter also features Venturi Aeration, which provides your tank with filtered, oxygenated water. This feature eliminates the need for an air pump. Instead of two separate units, this filter combines both functions: simply connect the air tube and air muffler to the flow nozzle, and follow the included instructions. Please fully submerge and fill filter with water before turning on. Aerating Spray Bar: In addition to the two flow nozzles and the Venturi Aeration, the this internal filter includes a spray bar that evenly distributes filtered water over the surface of your tank. Measurements: 3” (W) x 4” (D) x 11.5” (H).

Those who’ve been around the aquatic block for a while know that Under Gravel Filters (UGFs) are a testament of time. This Filter is air driven and utilizes an Air Pump (not included) to cycle crystal clear water throughout your aquarium, while keeping a crisp and neat look inside. This means there’s less “moving parts,” making for simplistic and easy maintenance. It’s suitable for most suitable for most 40 – 55 gallon aquariums, and is safe for Freshwater and Saltwater setups. Biological, Chemical, and Physical Filtration: As air is pushed through the Air Stones and rises through the Lift Tubes, water is gently suctioned through gravel and the filter plates, allowing both air and water to pass through the Filt-a-Carb Activated Carbon Cartridges. When water continues to be drawn through, anaerobic bacteria collects and colonizes within the gravel and filter plates. Also Aerates Your Tank: Since the Clear-Free Premium Under Gravel Filter is air driven through the use of Air Stones and an Air Pump (not included), it also aerates your tank. In essence, your aquarium is being filtered and aerated at the same time, though the same system! It’s a filter and bubbler in 1! Items Included: The Clear-Free Premium Under Gravel Filter includes 4 Filter Plates, 4 Adjustable Lift Tubes, 4 Straight Airline Tubes, 9 Filter Plate Connecters, and 4 Replaceable Filt-a-Carb Activated Carbon Media Cartridges. Measurements: Each Filter Plate Separately = 11.25” (W) x 11.25” (D) / Filter Plates Together = 45” (W) x 11.25” (D) / Each Lift Tube at Filter Plate Base = 13.25” – 16.5”.
