Useful concept and a handy little appliance but kind of a lightweight construction. I don't know how long it will last. It uses two eggs to make four egg bites. I would prefer to be able to make 6 or 8 bites at a time. I made 4 this morning and husband came in and popped two in his mouth. As a result, I had one egg for breakfast. This has worked well for us. Way to out together and produces a great compost. One thing to note is that the compost can rest on the bottom ledge inside which can make it difficult to open the doors.
