Although it’s not recommended to place it above a bed, I needed a shelf that wasn’t too heavy to install above my dresser and hold my projector. I really wish the color were lighter, the way it looks in the photos (I bought the Special Walnut), but aside from that, the included pieces are great and quite heavy.
