Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand-carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That master piece is then used to create a mould master. Once the mould master is created we use our high density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, light weight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type medallions. Medallions are light weight for easy installation and come primed ready for paint. These are in stock and available for immediate shipment. Our whole one-piece medallions are cut in two for you, making installation a breeze.

We actually got this to temporarily cover a gaping hole in our kitchen ceiling from an upstairs bathroom tub drain leak that has since been fixed. We liked the substantial size of it for our particular application, and it is very lightweight. We are in the process of painting it now. It arrived quickly, well packed, and in excellent condition. My husband drilled the holes in it without any issues. The design is beautiflul, and we will be spray painting it a hammered metallic copper color to give it an antique nautical look, to match our current decor. The medallion is a nice add-on to the light fixtures. I used Rust-Oleum Universal spray paint, very easy and very fast!
