Recommended Downrod length is based on ceiling height, with an ideal distance from the floor to fan blades being 7 to 9 feet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smell of cedar wood! This is such a beautiful planter. It took a few hours to build this, and it was not easy. There are a lot of pieces, and they did not all match up perfectly. I wish the pieces were labeled. It would have been much easier if all the pieces were labeled.
