Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. I struggled to give this 4 stars - i have a feeling swamp coolers in general arent very effective and we bought it for a bedroom that is above the garage that in above 100 degree temps outside, was a good 5+ degrees hotter than the rest of the upstairs - so perhaps too much of a challenge for such a system. But it definitely didnt cool the room down, though it did emit a lovely, quiet flow of air that felt slightly cooler than room temp. It was easy to put together but note - you have to plug in the little hose or it will leak everywhere when you put water in! Comes with ice packs and a remote and takes up little space. I think it would be nice to give a little extra "fan" feeling in a room, or if blowing directly in you and you keep up with the ice packs, will probably cool you better than a fan. Came in handy when our a/c in our living room went out. I like how it starts beeping when its low on water when it's in the cooling setting. I also like that it comes with 4 ice cooler pouches you can fill with water and freeze and add into the water tank. Really powerful fan! It has the option of a cool mist that's great for dry air. You can use it separate from the fan as well. It also has a cooling function. You put water in the base and add the ice packs that are included to make the fan blow cooler air. It's not nearly as cool as an air conditioner but it's better than hot dry air blowing when it's too warm out. It comes with 4 ice packs so you can use two and have two in the freezer to switch out. The fan looks really nice and doesn't take up a large footprint. It has given me the ability to put off using the air conditioner a bit. It will also be helpful to blow the cool air around better when I start using the AC. It has multiple settings. The fan has three settings. It's a really nice cooling fan for the price.. Tammy.
