This looks beautiful and also creates more space in the shower with its compact dimensions. Water volume and temperature can be adjusted via a concealed tap, sold separately. With its square wall flange, the hansgrohe FixFit E wall connection pairs particularly well with a geometric faucet design. Installation is extremely simple: the FixFit E is screwed onto an existing water outlet on the wall (size G ½; DN15). After that, any commercially available shower hose can be connected. All hoses with a conical nut will fit into the holder – including shower hoses from the hansgrohe range that are identical in colour also. You can create your own dream bathroom without much effort.

Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. I've seen these newer afwalls being used hundreds of times since being introduced in 2008, and they have been nothing but really reliable and sensory-friendly for people on the spectrum. Unfortunately, there's a vocal group of haters on the internet who do not like this generation of afwall, but pay them no mind. The bowl of this toilet is deep enough compared to the older model that felt too shallow, like I was sitting on a clogged toilet. The new model, also, avoids siphoning out unnecessarily when you flush it, unlike the previous model that can do so unexpectedly and unnerve some people. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an antique "Pedestal Base" cast Iron tub with a ceiling mounted curtain surround. The Locarno 36" Wallbar allows me to mount a hand held shower head which is typically found on this vintage tub. The Wallbar has a sliding cradle which supports the shower head at any height desired by the bather. The cradle locks at the chosen height by a quarter turn of a simple lever. The Wallbar comes with a 63" chromed flexible hose which connects to the tub diverter faucet valve at one end and to your favorite shower head on the other end. The shower head connection fitting on the hose is tapered and just drops easily into the sliding cradle. The Wallbar installation is straight forward. A drilling template is included for convenience and installation instructions are included, although they are fairly simple with little amplifying information, such as drill bit sizes etc. Locarno recommends a qualified plumber do the installation, but any "Handy" person with common household tools should be able to install it. Locarno also cautions that the Wallbar not be used as a hand hold as it is only secured to the wall by two (2) wood screws.
