We just got two of these set up and they seem nice, but have barely used them yet. My main issue was the inability of Wayfair to send anyone who could put them together. They are too large for one person and, while I had paid for assembly, neither the delivery guys or the assembly team (which turned out to be the same delivery guys) could assemble it. This is very sturdy and definitely a bit nicer looking than the plastic bases. So giving it four stars for that reason. Only taking away one star because I didn’t really think about how expensive it was going to be to fill this with rocks. It cost us another 200 in rocks to fill it so it is a very expensive umbrella base. If you think about it that way. Also, I had concerns about it safety especially with kids around after it arrived so I ended up buying black bumperspool noodles to put on it for safety reasons so that kind of takes away from the aesthetic look.
