The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard. The plaster guard has a flat top for easy leveling in installation to ensure the trim will be standing straight after installation. A test cap and plugs are included for pressure testing the connection between the rough-in valve and water supply lines.

This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
