The Dyna-Glo Convection Heater generates 360 degrees of instant heat for construction sites, industrial workspaces, agricultural buildings, and other ventilated spaces. Rated at 80,000 BTUs, heats a maximum of 2,000 square feet for a period of 144 hours depending on the BTU level selected and the size of the propane tank. The does not require electricity and it is fueled by a 20, 40, or 100-pound liquid propane (LP) tank (not included). 20 pound tank run time is 5 hours at 80,000 BTUs. 40 pound tank run time is 11 hours at 80,000 BTUs. 100 pound tank run time is 27 hours at 80,000 BTUs. This unit is easy to ignite with a push and turn piezo ignition and it has continuously variable control between low and high setting, for maximum comfort control. It is fully portable and easy to transport between sites. The includes an inner windshield but also includes a shut-off safety valve that stops the gas flow, if the flame is extinguished, keeping the user and the project safe. This includes a 10-foot hose and regulator. This product is CSA approved and meets all applicable standards, which cover important safety and quality requirements.

Tested the DynaGlo heater last night in an 800 square foot mostly insulated barn/workshop. The ignition worked on the first click and on a 50* night it heated up the space to about 58* in an hour on the low setting. The unit is made of thin sheet metal which is fine but the weight makes it hard to keep steady while depressing the ignition button (notice the bricks I placed against the base in my photo). I filed down the sharp edges on the sheet metal holes where my hands go to pick it up. Comes with a 10 foot hose and regulator rated for 5psi. The flame is larger and makes more of a sound than expected but it's nowhere near as loud an annoying as the rocket heaters. It absolutely requires concrete or another non-flammable surface to sit on and 72" clearance around it. It's basically a propane fire pit with a can around it. Overall I am happy with the simplicity and function in the mild weather. Probably won't be the main heat source for my leaky old space but a backup to use as my woodstove is heating up.. Trescha.
