The double-lever corkscrew stylishly opens a good bottle of wine. All you have to do is put the bottom of the corkscrew on the bottle and then turn the handle. You can then remove the cork out of the bottle by pushing on the corkscrew’s handy lifting arms. This tool’s excellent quality will win over any wine-lover. This wine opener is simple but well crafted. It is heavy in hand - weighing about 23 of a pound. It’s solid stainless steel and has a nice flat silver finish. The craftsmanship is obvious and I doubt I’ll be needing to ever buy a replacement due to wear and tear or breakage. have used the basic waiters corkscrew for 10 years and loved it so decided to upgrade to the more expensive one with the woooden handle. The worm does not go into the cork like the basic model. The point is just a little flat and requires a vigorous and strong push to get it into the cork, and upon twisting it then chews the cork into bits. Not pleased with this (more expensive) choice.
