It came with one small nick in the faux leather on the front of the skirt at the bottom, which I will need to touch up. Otherwise everything was in great shape. As mentioned, it is VERY firm, but I’m sure that will change with time and use. We haven’t tried to sleep on it yet and probably never will, but the grandkids will. Hoping it’s comfortable for them. This futon looks great and was fairly easy to put together. It’s is extremely heavy so I needed help carrying the pieces from the box to the lower level to built it. I can not figure out how to keep the back straight up - it seems to only have recline options so being up against the wall is what’s holding the back up.
