Good news is that it rests on rubber bumpers that should help it avoid accelerated rusting from being in constant contact with the deck. Also has a drain hole for the post holder, plusses on that! It got four stars because one of the tightening screws was bent and they are not stainless, should be for the price. Will be replacing now so I dont have a problem down the road. My wife thinks its ugly (but couldnt beat the practicality) so I ordered an umbrella side table to go over the top of the stand. Will add some nice platecup surface while enhancing the look!!
