Thoroughly dry your cast iron and then using a paper towel, apply a light layer of oil around the entire surface of the pan. The pan should be smooth with no oil residue. This roaster allows you to completely cook ribs in under an hour. It has an internal roasting rack that elevate ribs off the bottom of the roaster allowing them to steam in their own juices or other flavored liquids.

Perfect for doing ribs in the oven - they turn out so tender. My complaint is hotter heavy the roaster is and that it’s not easy to remove the lid (no handles) to check temp of meat - especially when it’s so hot!. Kim. Olcott, NY. Thu Feb 06 2025

It is a great choice for holiday meals, family dinners, and special occasions.

This pan is not as described. It is advertised as stainless steel, but it is clearly not made of stainless steel. I used it only once to roast meat, then washed and dried it properly. Despite this, both the lid and the bottom of the pan have already rusted after just one use. This is unacceptable for a product that is supposed to be stainless steel. I would like a full refund or a replacement with a product that is actually made of stainless steel.. Anonymous. Wed Sep 02 2026

The Oven Roasters allow restaurants and foodservice operations to add extra crispiness and remove some of the fat from chicken wings, sliders, ribs and more! The innovative baking pan insert keeps foods high and dry instead of having them sit or stew in their own juices. The results are impressive: crispier products and a cleaner oven! Each pan features Lloyd Pans’ proprietary Pre Seasoned Tuff-Kote (PSTK) Finish. Oven Roaster sets include both the perforated insert with nibs (or feet) and a tray for oil collection. Does not fit a standard residential oven. Made in the USA.

Nice for sheet pan roasted meals. Haven’t used it yet, but I have complete confidence it will be as good as all my other Lloydpans. My gas fired infrared oven has warped and ruined many lesser pans. These are the toughest pans on the market and the only choice for me.. Anonymous. Lathrup Village, MI. Sun Aug 18 2024

The dish that goes in the oven and straight onto the table. The Alva Nori 12 x 8-Inch Enameled Cast Iron Roasting Pan holds heat the way thin metal trays cannot, so vegetables caramelise at the edges instead of steaming, proteins roast evenly, and a gratin bubbles golden right across the top rather than only in the middle. Because it is cast iron, you can sear on the stovetop first and then move the whole thing into the oven without dirtying a second pan. The enamel finish needs no seasoning and cleans up easily, and the dish looks like serveware because it is. Compatible with every cooktop including induction and oven safe to 500°F. No synthetic nonstick coating, and made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead or cadmium. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.
