African Mask Set

Introduce a stunning focal point to your indoor garden with the captivating Alocasia Polly (Alocasia x amazonica), also known as African Mask Plant or Elephant Ear. Renowned for its striking arrow-shaped leaves adorned with prominent white veins and a rich green surface, Alocasia Polly is a true showstopper that brings a touch of tropical elegance to any room. Its unique foliage and architectural form make it an ideal choice for adding visual interest to your living space, whether placed on a tabletop, shelf, or as a statement piece on the floor. Thriving in bright, indirect light, Alocasia Polly is perfect for well-lit areas of your home, such as living rooms, sunrooms, or near windows. This plant prefers a warm and humid environment, making it suitable for bathrooms or kitchens where humidity levels are naturally higher. While it typically reaches heights of 2 to 3 feet, its bold leaves create a dramatic impact, elevating your decor and bringing the beauty of nature indoors. Caring for your Alocasia Polly is relatively simple: keep the soil consistently moist but well-drained, as this plant does not tolerate sitting in water. Regular misting can help maintain the humidity it craves, especially in drier indoor environments. It's important to note that Alocasia Polly is toxic to pets if ingested, so ensure it's placed out of their reach. With its breathtaking foliage and easy care requirements, Alocasia Polly is an excellent addition to any plant lover's collection, offering both beauty and a refreshing touch of the tropics to your home.

The Alocasia Amazonica Bambino is a striking houseplant it features long leaves with bright veining that are shaped similar to an arrowhead. Alocasia Bambino is native to Southeast Asia. This plant is a dwarf variety of Alocasia and will only reach a height of around 12 when kept indoors. With the proper care this is a fairly easy houseplant to successfully grow indoors. This plant is happiest in an environment that mimics the humid and warm tropical environment that it is native to. Keep the humidity up past 70% for this plant. If you have a bright bathroom, the bambino will happily grow in there and love the humidity from the shower. This is not a drought resistant plant and will not like to dry out between waterings. Try and keep the soil evenly moist and make sure you have it on a regular watering schedule. The soil needs to be loose and well draining. Compact soil mixtures will leave excess moisture sitting around the roots. This can quickly lead to root rot and have dire repercussions for the plant.
