It definitely works but the door is delicate. You have to triple check it is fully sealed every time you close it because it doesn’t alert you if it’s not closed or the Temperature is climbing. You have to delicately close the door because any force will cause it to bounce back open. It does come with a lock but it’s at the bottom of the refrigerator and its a pain squat down every time to lock.. a family who regularly uses it will not be locking it every single time. This fridge is amazing! I love the way it lights up. It’s bigger than I thought it would be in depth. Can easily for a case of pop cans on each shelf and 20 on last shelf . I was missing one shelf holder thing. I looked at Lowe’s but couldn’t find any that matched. Ended up getting it from a fridge in gas station.
