I guess it's true that you get what you pay for - this bed frame is made from the worst, cheapest quality wood I've ever seen. Most pieces are not straight, a lot of them (including all slats) do not have pre-drilled holes, and my husband and I had to push the two sides together to drill the slats into the bottom of the frame. It feels unsturdy and almost unsafe, but thankfully my child is young and pretty small (under 40lbs), so I think it will work for a while. The description is misleading. We thought it was a twin with an ad''l twin trundle. After we put it together, we realized it is a full bed w/twin trundle. Now we are stuck with it, cannot fit the desk or trundle on it b/c the room is too small. Product came damaged in several spots but we had already spent time putting it together. When we called to see if we could just get replacement parts for the pieces that were damaged we were told the manufacturer wouldn't do that and they wanted to send a new bed. I'm disappointed by this as removing the bed that was already partly assembled would have been such a headache and it's not like they would have taken it away for us.
