Silicone Knife

I really like my in-drawer knife storage. It frees up counter space and allows me to have my knives organized and properly stored. I'm vegetarian, so I don't have a need for "steak knives. " This accommodates my knives perfectly. Definitely high quality and fits well in the drawer and leaves extra space. Definitely recommend if you have a similar need for storage!. Anonymous. Overall an excellent block, particularly if you have multiple larger knives. Pros: Good looks. Quality wood (bamboo). Narrower than most blocks that hold similar amounts of knives. Fits more wide blades than typical. Cons: The opening for the honing steel is a bit small, and if your steel has a guard to protect your fingers, it may cover from 1-3 knife slots partially. My only criticism is that it is too short to accommodate my Sakai Takayuki 210mm Usuba nor my Miyabi 9.5 inch chef's knife - the latter being a Zwilling product.
