I am a big guy weighing in at 350#. I go through a chair or two in the back yard aroung the swimming pool where I have a container garden. The hindges always seem to bend making the chair lend forward. I had concerns regarding this chair as it did not have hindges meaning when moving the chair it would not fold. Well, that is not a problem as the chair is light enough to move with ease. I like it. Assembly is a little less than straightforward (it does not come with any instructions, nor does it indicate what tools you will need -- nor, interestingly, are instructions available on the manufacturer's website) but I was able to figure it out on my second attempt. (For assembly, I discovered it was structurally critical that the entire base was assembled before attaching to the top.) I also think that it looks ever so slightly different than advertised. (Namely, the ad pictures of the Natural Finish top make it look like the top is constructed with pieces of wood that extend the full width of the table, but in fact it is made of smaller pieces of wood that are glued together, meaning there are seams going both ways i.e. seams perpendicular to each other. A small detail perhaps, but worth noting.) It also was packaged in what felt like an excessive amount of plastic wrap. This was so easy to put together. Four screws and two interlocking leg parts. I was hesitant about a restaurant design but I got it because this brand and design is sold to businesses across the states. I figure it’s a quality tested product. While I love modern design, those tables cost a pretty penny and the glass top that comes with sets can be visually heavy looking and on some models you can see the interior bolts or screws. This one also seems to stay clean on top where as my glass tables need cleaning outdoors. Easy to hose off or water plants without water pooling. Partnered with color splash stools. This is definitely a bar table. Still meant to put your feet up on a bar good stool. If you don’t have comfy chairs this table is very tall. There is no area to rest your feet on the table so make sure you have chairs that make one feel comfortable. I warned my husband about the reviews saying you have to drill your own holes to attach the base and tabletop, but he made quick work of putting it together. He told me it’s extremely sturdy, and that I’ve selected a good table. Unfortunately, he was not able to get the little pieces that balance the legs to work, so it is a little wobbly at the moment..
