These panels are exactly what I was looking for. I have a massage office that has a drop ceiling, so it’s quite noisy beyond the walls. I wanted to do as much soundproofing as possible and these are a great start. I’ve ordered two sets in different patterns and they do help muffle some sound, especially the sound from my office to the outside, which is helpful for client privacy. My office is located in a busy sports club and close to the locker rooms so these aren’t completely correcting the problem of outside noise, but I anticipate for most other situations they would greatly reduce it. First and foremost, I love it compared to what I had up. It matches my stove and stainless steel sheet. Once we get a better fridge it will all look like it goes together well. For that, totally worth it. Easy to clean. I did some of the easier sections myself and hired a handyman to do the rest. The area was well scraped and flat, and it didn't take too long to go up. I had him do the corner cuts, under the light switches, and put up a couple of mine that had fell off. The w/b Cookbook shown, is hiding where the lightswitch being screwed in is too much for the tile and it is kicked out like a see saw. Also, when cut you notice that the aluminum is just a cover, it really fooled us both until you until you cut into it! Not a bad thing, it's advertised as such, I just forgot while using/seeing it. Cons: the adhesive is not strong. There are also sections that will always stick out unevenly because the adhesive is not all the way to the end in some areas. These are pretty cool. I wanted to do an accent wall at the entrance to my bedroom. The wall was difficult to decorate and it needed something other than just a picture. It needed texture and interest. Cue the faux stone tiles! I think I this is going to be exactly what this wall needed and wanted. I can play with paint on the faux stone to make it look authentic. Such a fun project! I can’t wait to get started! I need to figure out how to hang these, however. There were no instructions in the box. I’m assuming to mount them you would use finishing nails?
