This table top fire pit is a great idea, but there are some things to consider. First and most importantly, I would not recommend having one of these around young children. The rocks are small, the flame is open on the sides, and it is easy to access the fuel— lit or unlit. There were no assembly instructions included. While this is easy to assemble, it might have been helpful to have pointed out that the fuel reservoir is silver and covered in a plastic film. Also, fill the reservoir after placing the rocks so that none fall into the fuel. And, fill it when you have it in its location, not before you carry it somewhere. I’d also plan to put it somewhere with limited airflow because light breezes or ceiling fans can cause the flame to flicker and lay over. I do love the idea of being able to change the rocks if a different color or type is preferred. Overall beautiful addition to my patio table. Had a little trouble inserting one of the glass panels and it slightly chipped the base of the firepit. Chip was not big enough to file a claim. Well my Ethanol Fire Pit arrived quickly. As soon as I saw how little this. Package was I was skeptical. But I opened the box and it was packaged very well. This little Pit exceeded my expectations! It's actually perfect for what we need it for. It's ambience is quite nice! It's super easy to attach the items needed to use it. I put some pretty decorative rock in it. My friend put it together for me. It's nothing that is going to keep you warm outside. But for a nice cool evening out on the patio it's perfect. Attach the needed items and turn it on!
